Ubisoft has officially released **Assassin’s Creed® Shadows**, and it’s already breaking records. **Before 4 PM in Canada**, the game has **surpassed 1 million players worldwide**, marking an incredible launch for the franchise’s latest installment.

## **A Journey Into 16th-Century Japan**

Developed by **Ubisoft Québec**, the team behind **Assassin’s Creed Odyssey**, **Assassin’s Creed Shadows** transports players to **Sengoku-era Japan**, a period of war, political turmoil, and shifting allegiances.

Players will take on the roles of two distinct protagonists:

- **Naoe** – A **shinobi Assassin** from **Iga Province**, trained in stealth, deception, and assassination.
- **Yasuke** – A **legendary samurai**, inspired by a real historical figure, wielding immense strength and combat prowess.

Their **interwoven stories** will guide players through a **brutal struggle for unification**, introducing **historical figures** and shaping the fate of **Feudal Japan**.
