Calling all Canadian content creators! The Canada Media Fund is now offering access to their Digital Creators Pilot Program. This is a solid opportunity for Canadian creators specifically, and focuses on creators with a track record making short-form video content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook. If you’ve been dreaming of making social media your main focus and grow your audience while making some money, this program could really help you get there over the next six months.

The maximum amount of funding that can be requested is $20,000, and this is to cover most of your project costs. What's the catch? You need to create at least four original videos, work on building your engagement, and figure out ways to grow your content business. This, in my opinion, is a well worth it and exciting program for creators who have already began to gain traction but seeking to bring their business to the next level.

They’re also putting some good attention on French-language content, which is great for diversity in Canada’s digital space. Overall, it’s a real boost if you want to step up your content game with some financial support and a little structure.
