Gears of War: E-Day - October 6, 2026
(Xbox Console Exclusive)
We got some game footage starring my boy Marcus! It was super neat to watch what I'm assuming will be an early in-game mission—lots of blood and gore, exactly what we all want from another game in this franchise. Interesting choice, though, considering the Gears of War direct is directly after the main showcase.

Fable - February 23, 2027
We were blessed with Hayley Atwell playing my new favourite villain in Fable... Isabel, Hero of Wraithmarsh. Playground Games is definitely setting us up for a great time on Xbox, PC, and PS5.
Halo Campaign Evolved - July 28

The fan-fave JRPG is getting the remaster treatment, officially dropping across Xbox Series X|S, PC, Cloud Gaming, and Game Pass, with full Xbox Play Anywhere support. Pre-orders are now live.
State of Decay 3 - 2027

Love to see this one isn’t lost to time. It’s finally hitting Xbox, PC, Game Pass, and PS5 in 2027. This showcase came with a long, gameplay-heavy trailer packed with cinematic moments.
Sea of Thieves - June 18

Sea of Thieves is leveling up with Season 20, dropping June 18. Rare introduced Custom Seas... basically a sandbox mode where you can build your own pirate experience. Expect camera tools, mini-games, hangouts, and more, all hitting day one on Game Pass.

Metro 2039 - February 2027
4A Games’ next Metro entry, Metro 2039 (proudly made in Ukraine) just got a massive gameplay reveal after its First Look debut. It’s now locked for February 2027.
Bad Magpie - 2027

This fun build-a cult game is coming Q1 2027 and looked like a solid fun game that I am looking forward to picking up. It drops on multiple shops including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, Steam, Epic, and PS5.

Senua

Easily my favorite reveal of the showcase. the next chapter in the Hellblade saga—Senua. It was announced with a seriously intense, cinematic trailer. It’s coming to Xbox, PC (Xbox + Steam), Game Pass, Cloud Gaming, and PS5 next year, with Play Anywhere support too.
Fallout 76: Infestations -

Fallout 76 is getting a new Infestations update and honestly looked like a solid reason to jump back in. New trailer showed off the update and looks like there’s a bunch of new stuff to dig into if you’ve been away for a while.

DOOM: The Dark Ages Revelations - July 7

DOOM is getting a new DLC and this looked like pure chaotic fun. More of that heavy metal hack-and-slash energy and definitely one I’ll be checking out.

Crazy Taxi: World Tour - 2027
(Xbox Play Anywhere)
Crazy Taxi is back and this looked like exactly the kind of ridiculous arcade energy I wanted. Fun car/racing delivery game with that classic go-fast-and-don’t-think vibe.
Xbox Series X 25th Anniversary Edition -
(Limited Edition Console – November 2026)
We got this gorgeous translucent green 25th Anniversary Xbox Series X and controller. Super clean callback to the original Xbox and honestly one of my favorite hardware reveals of the year so far.

Age of Empires IV: Raiders of The North - Fall 2026
(Expansion/DLC)
Age of Empires IV is heading north with a Viking-themed expansion. Looks like a fun game for fans of the genre and should bring some cool new campaigns and battles.

Minecraft Dungeons II - September 29
(Game Pass, Available Day #1)
Officially announced! Minecraft Dungeons is back and looks bigger and more polished this time around. Creeper (and Warden) Hack-and-slash Minecraft goodness and launching Day One on Game Pass.
Magicians: The Devil's Deal -2027
(World Premiere, Game Pass, Available Day #1)
Looks like a really interesting new narrative game built around stage magic and stealing powers from rival magicians. Cool concept and definitely one of the surprise reveals I want to see more of.

Valor Mortis - September 24.
(Game Pass, Available Day #1)
First-person action game set in this twisted supernatural Napoleonic world. Looked stylish and different, and the combat had some really cool energy.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Return of the Thieves Guild - July 8
(Game Pass, Available Day #1)
The Thieves Guild is finally back in ESO and honestly that alone got my attention. First return to this storyline in years and looked like a fun update for longtime players.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – World Update 22 -
(Game Pass, Available Day #1)
World Update 22 adds over thirty U.S. national parks and monuments and honestly this feels like one of those updates that quietly ends up being incredible.

Where Winds Meet - Available Today
(Game Pass)
Where Winds Meet is finally hitting Xbox and shadow dropping with Game Pass support. Also getting Hidden Mountain DLC later this year. Looks gorgeous and if you like open-world action RPGs this feels worth checking out.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse - October 15
My second favourite showing!! New Castlevania game featuring Rose Belmont. Trailer looked stylish and had strong classic Castlevania energy while still feeling modern. Looks like there might be some Sypha/Trevor lore to be had. I'm excited.
Vivarium - 2027
(Game Pass, Available Day #1)
This looked incredibly cozy and gave me strong Ghibli vibes. Relaxing life sim energy for sure. One of my sleeper favorites from the showcase.

Persona 6
(World Premiere, Game Pass, Available Day #1)
ATLUS finally revealed Persona 6 and the trailer felt noticeably darker than expected. Huge reveal and easily one of the biggest surprise announcements of the show.
Spyro: A Realm Beyond - Spring 2027
(Game Pass)
Spyro is officially back and this looked like a really fun return. New worlds, new adventure, and honestly just nice seeing Spyro get another big release.

Clockwork Revolution - 2027
(Xbox Exclusive, Game Pass, Available Day #1)
Looks like a very fun Sherlock-ish timey-whimey narrative game. My second look at this IP and I get more and more excited every time I see it. Has a weird Dollman-esque character vibe and the world looks packed with personality. Looking forward to playing this one.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 + DMZ Mode - October 23
(Gameplay Showcase)
Similar to the start of the show, we get another early in-game mission walkthrough... This time focused on DMZ. Looks slower, more tactical, and way more team-focused than typical COD multiplayer.
