# FAN EXPO Canada Turns 30... And It's Breaking Records to Celebrate

Thirty years. That's a hell of a run for any convention, but [FAN EXPO Canada](https://fanexpohq.com/fanexpocanada/?ref=agamingnetwork.com) has never been one to coast. This year's landmark **30th edition** is already tracking record-breaking attendance, and the numbers are doing the talking... so much so that organizers had to extend Saturday's show hours to keep up with demand!

### The Saturday Situation - ALMOST SOLD OUT

Saturday, August 29: Full-day passes are completely SOLD OUT, but if you're a procrastinator with good timing, a batch of Saturday **after 3:00 PM** tickets are [still available](https://fanexpohq.com/fanexpocanada/buy-tickets/?ref=agamingnetwork.com#single-day-tier-3). Show hours have also been pushed to 8:00 PM, so you've got more time than usual to squeeze in panels, autographs, and one last lap of the show floor before they kick you out.

### The Guest List Is Stacked

This year, we have top talent like Mark Hamill, John Cena, Mel Gibson, Elijah Wood, and Mr. T. We also have the full Fellowship reunion energy, with Sean Astin, John Rhys-Davies, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan all in the building.

The recently announced additions only make it more absurd: William Fichtner, Bruce Dickinson (yes, *that* Bruce Dickinson), Brenton Thwaites, Catherine Bell, and Oded Fehr, among others. If you're a Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, or general pop-culture completionist, this is the weekend to be in Toronto.

### Getting There (and Getting In)

The show runs across the North and South Buildings of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre through Sunday, August 30... and with over 135,000 fans expected across 750,000 sq. ft., it's a full citywide takeover. FAN EXPO has also partnered with Metrolinx this year, so out-of-towners can add a round-trip GO Fare ticket at checkout to ride straight into Union Station and skip the parking nightmare entirely. Bonus: kids 12 and under ride the GO for free.
