AT LAST Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Coming to PC May 16 2024

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is coming to PC, marking the first time a Sucker Punch title will be available on the platform. Developed in collaboration with Nixxes, the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut includes the full game, the Iki Island expansion, and the cooperative online multiplayer Legends mode. Nixxes has been working diligently to bring the Sucker Punch in-house engine technology to PC, implementing features such as unlocked frame rates, various graphics settings and presets, and customizable mouse and keyboard controls.

One of the highlights of the PC version is its support for ultrawide monitors, offering a cinematic field of view. The game is fully optimized for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions and even supports 48:9 resolutions for triple-monitor setups. Additionally, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC features the latest performance-enhancing technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XeSS upscaling, along with NVIDIA DLAA and FSR 3 Native AA for further image quality enhancement.

The game also offers extensive controller support, allowing players to use Steam Input to remap and customize their preferred peripherals. For an immersive experience, players can use a PlayStation DualSense controller with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Players can wishlist and pre-purchase Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-purchasing the game grants access to early in-game unlocks, including the New Game+ Horse, Traveler’s Attire, and Broken Armor dyes from Baku’s shop. The Game’s PC release is May 16.

Sucker Punch co-founder Brian Fleming expressed excitement about the PC version, highlighting Nixxes as the right team for the project. For PC players new to the game, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is an action-adventure game set in feudal Japan. Players assume the role of Jin Sakai, a samurai faced with protecting Tsushima from a Mongol invasion. The game includes the Iki Island expansion, which introduces new locations, characters, and enemies, as well as the cooperative multiplayer mode Legends, inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology.

The PC version also includes Kurosawa Mode, allowing players to experience the game in black and white with film grain effects and Japanese dialogue. More information, including system requirements, will be shared closer to the launch date on May 16.
