iLLOGIKA Releases New Development Update for 7 Days Blood Moons and Launches Free Steam Demo

iLLOGIKA has shared a new development update for 7 Days Blood Moons, alongside the launch of a free Steam demo that showcases the latest improvements made during Early Access.

The game, which entered Early Access on November 4, reimagines the universe of 7 Days to Die with a bold asymmetrical 4v1 survival format, pitting four Survivors against a single Zombie Master. The newly released demo offers players an easy way to experience how the game has evolved since launch.

Steady Improvements Since Early Access Launch

Since entering Early Access, the iLLOGIKA team has been closely monitoring community feedback, technical performance, and player behaviour. This hands-on approach has led to a steady stream of hotfixes and patches targeting the most common pain points reported by players.

Recent updates have focused on:

  • Server stability and connectivity improvements
  • Level design optimization
  • Numerous bug fixes and performance refinements

These changes aim to ensure a smoother experience while laying a strong technical foundation for future content.

Ongoing Content and Core Gameplay Refinement

While technical stability remains the top priority, development has not slowed on the content front. Since launch, 7 Days Blood Moons has received:

  • New enemy types
  • Additional playable maps
  • New Survivor skins
  • New Merit Badges

At the same time, community feedback continues to shape the core experience. Current development efforts are centred on improving combat responsiveness, polishing level layouts, refining the balance between Survivors and the Zombie Master, and expanding language support.

All upcoming features and additions are outlined in the public roadmap available on the Steam page, with updates delivered through frequent patches.

A Studio Built on Player Feedback

David Fugère-Lamarre, CEO and co-founder of iLLOGIKA, emphasized the importance of player involvement throughout development:

“We have been listening closely to our players since day one. The free demo is our way of opening the door wider, showing the progress we have made, and inviting more people to experience the direction the game is taking. Early Access is meant to involve players in the game development process. Feedback is shaping every decision we make.”

This philosophy has guided the project from the start and continues to define how the team approaches Early Access.

A Collaborative Early Access Journey

Every report, livestream, comment, and gameplay clip has helped guide the evolution of 7 Days Blood Moons. iLLOGIKA remains committed to transparent communication and close collaboration with its community.

The free demo reflects that commitment, offering a no-cost opportunity for new players to experience the game and for returning players to see how far it has come.

7 Days Blood Moons is available now in Early Access on Steam.
The free demo can be downloaded directly from the game’s Steam page.

Looking Ahead

More patches, improvements, and content updates are planned throughout the Early Access period. The team’s objective remains clear: strengthen performance, improve quality of life, and continue expanding the game’s systems and world as development moves forward.
