Leap Into Action: Assassin’s Creed Shadows Title Update 1.1.8 Brings Manual Jump
The parkour community’s prayers have been answered. Ubisoft has officially detailed Title Update 1.1.8, which launches on February 17, 2026. This isn't just a stability patch, it’s a gameplay game-changer that reintroduces a core mechanic fans have been asking for since launch.
Whether you're playing as the agile Naoe or the powerhouse Yasuke, your movement through feudal Japan is about to get a lot more expressive.
Patch Highlights: Parkour Reborn
The headline of this update is the return of the Manual Jump. By enabling the "Advanced Parkour" option in your settings, the Parkour Up button now allows you to jump at any time. No longer bound to contextual ledges, you can now create your own lines, leap across rooftops on your own terms, and treat the environment like a true playground.

For the Min-Maxers: Detailed Stats Sheet
If you’ve been wondering exactly how your gear interacts, the new Detailed Stats Sheet is for you. From the inventory menu, you can now toggle a deep-dive view of your current loadout. It breaks down:
- Combined gear perks and status effects.
- Total damage multipliers and resistance values.
- Real-time lethalness based on your active build.
Visual Polish: Critical Hits
To complement the new stat sheet, Critical Hits have received a visual overhaul. When you land a massive blow, the feedback on the enemy’s health bar is significantly more pronounced, giving you instant gratification for that high-crit build you've been perfecting.

Stability and Major Bug Fixes
The update also clears out several progression blockers that have been plaguing players:
- The Animus Glitch: A new quick-access point to the Vault, Projects, and Exchange has been added right at the entrance of your Hideout.
- Quest Fixes: Major fixes for "The Lesson," "Revenge," and "A Puzzlement" ensure you can complete these missions without desyncs or missing items.
- Perk Balancing: A long list of weapon perks, including the popular Kaen Kusarigama and Fox Tail, have had their damage calculations corrected to work as intended.
