LittleRedDread’s Liminal Exit Brings Backrooms Horror to Life in New Trailer

Liminal Exit, developed by LittleRedDread, is making a splash in the indie horror scene. As someone who’s a big fan of Backrooms-inspired games this one has definitely caught my eye. The genre's community is clearly invested, with development updates from LittleRedDread regularly earning between 1,000 and 2,000 upvotes on Reddit, a clear sign that players are eager to see where this project goes.
Liminal Exit drops players into three unsettling floors of looping, liminal spaces. If you make a mistake, you’ll find yourself repeating the same eerie corridors, all while a mysterious AI presence tries to trap you and gradually reveals the story. The game’s anomalies offer varying levels of challenge, so you have to stay alert to make it out.
The new trailer is available to watch now, offering a first look at the game’s tense atmosphere and haunting visuals. The Steam page is now live, although the release date has yet to be announced.
With the Backrooms genre still going strong and a passionate community behind it, Liminal Exit is shaping up to be a standout indie horror experience. As a fan of this style of game, I’m genuinely interested to see how LittleRedDread’s vision unfolds. This is definitely one to watch.
