**Ubisoft** has officially launched **Siege X**, the most ambitious and transformative update in the **10-year history** of *Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege*. Available now for **free** on **PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (Steam), and Amazon Luna**, *Siege X* brings sweeping changes to maps, gameplay, graphics, and the very core of how Rainbow Six Siege is played.

This isn’t just a seasonal update — it’s a reimagining of Siege for a new generation of players, offering **free access**, a groundbreaking **6v6 Dual Front mode**, and a host of features designed to expand, modernize, and redefine the tactical shooter.

### Dual Front: 6v6 Tactical Chaos with Respawns and Sector Control

The headline feature of *Siege X* is **Dual Front**, a **permanent new 6v6 game mode** that mixes Attackers and Defenders on both teams for the first time in Siege history. In this mode:

- Teams **fight to control enemy sectors** while **defending their own**
- Players can **respawn**, **change operators mid-match**, and take on rotating **Neutral Sector assignments**
- The mode introduces **dynamic objectives** and **more aggressive, strategic gameplay**

- **Rappelling now allows horizontal sprinting** along walls

### Operation Daybreak: Season 2 Launches with Clash Remaster and Balancing Changes

Coinciding with Siege X, **Operation Daybreak** — the second season of Year 10 — has also gone live. Key features include:
