The release of The Outlast Trials "V1" marks the culmination of valuable player feedback received since its Early Access launch on PC in May 2023, with over 1.6 million copies sold worldwide. About The Outlast Trials:
Set in 1959, The Outlast Trials explores the sinister operations of the Murkoff Corporation, which uses a recruitment agency to identify potential test subjects for its experiments in creating sleeper agents. These "Reagents" undergo brutal physical and psychological trials until they are conditioned for perfect obedience and ready to be released back into society, awaiting activation.
Players assume the role of one of these untrained civilians and can fully customize their appearance and their cells in the Sleep Room—a space where Reagents can interact with other test subjects, play chess, arm wrestle, or simply unwind between Murkoff's harrowing experiments.
