If you have been waiting to experience the next chapter of Sam Porter Bridges’ journey on your PC, the wait is almost over. Kojima Productions and Nixxes Software just announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will officially land on Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 19, 2026.

This standalone sequel takes the "strand" gameplay we love and moves the action to a post-apocalyptic Australia. Sam is tasked with connecting the continent to the Chiral Network, but he is not just fighting supernatural BTs this time. You will have to survive a landscape plagued by forest fires, sandstorms, and massive earthquakes that literally reshape the world while you are trying to make a delivery.

Nixxes is known for high-quality ports, and they are pulling out all the stops for Sam’s latest trek. If you have the hardware, this version is designed to be the ultimate way to play:
