There was a ton for Souls-like and FPS fans to get excited about—honestly, it felt like those genres dominated the show. While the showcase did a decent job of touching multiple genres, I found myself only getting truly hyped for a handful of games like End of Abyss and Fractured Blooms. These games stood out because of their unique gameplay mechanics and intriguing storyline previews. Still, sharing the experience with Marcel and Steve made it much more fun.
Undoubtedly, the most unforgettable moment for all of us was the announcement of Resident Evil 9. The excitement it sparked in our Discord group chat was palpable. Here's to hoping that next year's show will bring even MORE surprises that will set our hearts racing!
