Riot Games Unveils Enchanting New TFT Set "Magic n' Mayhem" with Teaser Trailer

Riot Games has unveiled the name and thematic details of the upcoming  Teamfight Tactics (TFT) set, titled "Magic n' Mayhem," through a teaser trailer. Scheduled for release with Patch 14.15, this update will immerse players in the Magitorium, a magical castle filled with curiosities where limitless magic converges with boundless imagination.

The "Magic n' Mayhem" set introduces players to a plethora of new features, including new champions, mechanics, augments, cosmetics, and a new Pass & Pass+. The teaser hints at unexpected twists and a vibrant journey into a world of wizardry.

Teamfight Tactics, a leading game in the auto battler genre with over 60 million average monthly players, allows each player to combine popular League of Legends champions and items in various formations to outlast seven other competitors. The game is available on both mobile and PC platforms.

The teaser video for "Magic n' Mayhem" is the first in a series of trailers that Riot Games plans to release throughout the week. The new set will be accessible to players on both PC and mobile starting Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

TFT is an eight person free-for-all strategy game where players combine LoL champions and items in different formations to defeat the seven other players in a match. As the leading game in the auto battler genre, players tactically place an army of characters on a grid-shaped game board for a last-player-standing automated battle. Since launching in 2019, TFT has emerged as the top contender in the genre by providing a fun and deep chess-like gameplay experience for all types of players on multiple platforms.
