The Rogue Prince of Persia™ Launches in Early Access with Exciting New Features
Ubisoft, in collaboration with Evil Empire, has officially launched The Rogue Prince of Persia™, a 2D action-platforming rogue-lite game, now available worldwide in Early Access on Steam. For a limited time, players can take advantage of a 10% discount during the first 24 hours of release. Additionally, the game is available to play on the GeForce Now service, providing even more accessibility for eager adventurers.

At the onset of its Early Access phase, The Rogue Prince of Persia includes a wealth of content to explore:

Game Setting and Storyline
The Rogue Prince of Persia transports players to a mythical version of Ctesiphon, the once-thriving heart of the Persian Empire. The city stands on the brink of annihilation, invaded by the ruthless hordes of the Huns, led by the wicked chief Nogai. Players must guide the Prince through vibrant biomes, utilizing his acrobatic talents to navigate procedurally generated levels, acquire and refine an arsenal of weapons, equip new trinkets, and gather allies to save the city.
Gameplay Mechanics
The game’s platforming challenges are enhanced by the Prince’s signature wall run, allowing for seamless traversal over gaps, avoiding traps, and outmaneuvering enemies. Combat is intense, with foes ranging from Huns armed with dark shamanic magic to beasts tainted by nefarious power.
Soundtrack
An original soundtrack produced and composed by ASADI, a Persian-American Electronic Music Producer and Performance Artist, plays a major role in immersing players in a modern and epic vision of Persian folklore. The Rogue Prince of Persia’s Original Soundtrack fuses traditional and modern sonorities, supporting the moves and flow of the Prince.
