Ubisoft and One Republic Collaborate on Assassin's Creed Mirage Soundtrack

In an exciting fusion of music and gaming, Interscope has joined forces with Ubisoft to unveil Mirage, a captivating musical collaboration for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage. This marks the first-ever partnership between the Assassin's Creed® franchise and a globally acclaimed top 50 artist, underscoring the franchise's commitment to delivering outstanding music experiences. Notably, this dedication recently earned them a coveted Grammy Award.

Set to drop on September 22, Mirage features OneRepublic alongside the talented Mishaal Tamer, promising a harmonious blend of creative talent. The song's composition and lyrics bear the imprint of Ryan Tedder, the band's frontman, who drew inspiration from the game itself. Mirage also incorporates elements from the original Assassin's Creed Mirage soundtrack, a composition crafted through the collaborative efforts of Brendan Angelides and Layth Sidiq, the lead vocalist and violinist.

Ryan Tedder shared his excitement, revealing, "Most people don't know this about me, but my band and I are closet gamers. I've been a huge fan of Assassin's Creed since the beginning. Having toured extensively in the Middle East, I wanted to capture the spirit of that region and reflect the location of the game sonically as much as possible. I can't wait for our fans and fans of AC to hear what we came up with. This was a definite pinch myself moment."

Adding an extra layer of cultural depth to the project is the rising Saudi artist, Mishaal Tamer, who opened for OneRepublic during their Summer European Tour 2023. Mishaal's musical style draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of Arab music, spanning the Levant, Egypt, and the Arabian Gulf, as well as influences from K-pop, Indie rock, and Urban Latino. Both artists share a profound passion for the Assassin's Creed franchise, which has fueled their collaboration on this remarkable project.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will launch on October 5 and is available for pre-order for PC via the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store, as well as for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Amazon Luna. The game is also included on day one with a Ubisoft+ subscription.
