VGLX: A Fan-First Gaming Weekend Arrives in Mississauga This October

Something fresh is stirring in the GTA’s gaming scene, and it is set to level up community vibes this fall. VGLX, short for Video Game Live Expo, is gearing up to launch a brand new two-day event in Mississauga on October 25 and 26. If the sound of hands-on sessions, big-stage tournaments, and all manner of colourful cosplay catches your interest, you’ll want this on your calendar.

Toronto’s gamers are nothing if not passionate. For years, local creators, cosplayers, developers, and game lovers have poured their energy into a thriving, diverse scene. VGLX aims to capture that spirit.

Jason Lepine, the founder of XP Gaming Inc. and Co-Director at VGLX Shows Inc., puts it like this: “We built VGLX to give Toronto’s gaming community something fans have been asking for—a true, playable fan-first weekend. It’s about energy, connection, and showing what this scene can be when everyone comes together.”

Jason Lim, Co-Director at CSC (Canada Super Collectibles), captures the event’s inclusive intention: “Every zone at VGLX is designed to reflect the real variety in today’s gaming culture. From the dance arcade to the trading card game tables, we want people to feel like this event sees them.”
