Live from PAX East: Digital Extremes Unveils Warframe’s Isleweaver, Yareli Prime, and a New Soulframe Trailer

Digital Extremes brought the energy to PAX East’s main theater this year, giving fans a front-row seat to what’s next for Warframe and Soulframe, and it’s shaping up to be a wild ride into summer and beyond.
Get ready for the Isleweaver: Warframe’s Next Big Narrative Chapter, set to land in June. The anticipation is building for this major update, promising a thrilling new chapter in the Warframe saga.
The headline reveal was Isleweaver, Warframe’s next major narrative update, dropping free for all players this June. Isleweaver sends Tenno back to the surreal floating islands of Duviri, but with a twist: players can now bring their own Warframes into these roguelike adventures for the first time outside of the Circuit. The story picks up after the events of Warframe: 1999, with Major Rusalka seizing Duviri’s throne and unleashing new Murmur enemies. There’s also a fresh Clan Operation-Eight Claw, where squads can team up for exclusive rewards and customizations.
Meet Oraxia: The 61st Warframe Crawls In.
Community wishes have been answered with the debut of Oraxia, Warframe’s 61st frame and the long-requested “Spiderframe.” Oraxia’s kit is all about predatory finesse: she can siphon health and energy from weakened foes, ensnare enemies in webs, summon spiderlings, and even crawl along walls for a new spin on mobility. Her story is as twisted as her abilities- years of isolation have left her unable to tell friend from foe, making her a dangerous wildcard in the Duviri landscape.
Yareli Prime Arrives May 21
Before Isleweaver lands, players can look forward to Yareli Prime on May 21. This upgraded version of the aquatic Warframe comes with her signature Daikyu Prime bow and Kompressa Prime pistol. Expect to ride the waves in style, trapping enemies in bubbles, slicing through crowds with swirling aqua blades, and unleashing riptide maelstroms for crowd control.
Valkyr and Vauban Heirloom Skins, Plus a Valkyr Rework
For the cosmetic collectors among us, there's something special on the horizon. Valkyr’s Heirloom skin, arriving July 21, and Vauban’s Heirloom skin, set for early 2026, are not just about looks. These skins come with a gameplay rework that promises to bring a fresh and exciting feel to these classic frames.
Making Warframe More Welcoming
Digital Extremes is also overhauling Warframe’s new player experience, starting with the Yareli Prime update. Expect clearer Warframe and weapon categories, a smoother onboarding process, and more accessible Star Chart progression. Junction missions will now show tasks and rewards upfront, making it easier for newcomers to find footing.
Soulframe: New Trailer and a Glimpse of Bromius
On the Soulframe front, PAX East attendees got an exclusive look at a new gameplay trailer, featuring magical combat, dynamic weapon swapping, and animal companions. The highlight? A sneak peek at the Omen Beast Bromius, a formidable three-headed bear boss. Fans can expect even more details and a full boss fight reveal at TennoCon in July.
What’s Next?
With Isleweaver, Oraxia, Yareli Prime, and significant changes to the player experience, Warframe is set for an action-packed summer. Soulframe is also ramping up, promising high fantasy adventures and new challenges on the horizon. If you’re a fan, now’s the time to jump in-or jump back in-and see what Digital Extremes has in store.
Stay tuned for more updates at TennoCon this July!
