Strange Brew is Out Now: A Jittery, Zombie-Filled Trip You Don’t Wanna Miss
Strange Brew, a campy 3D platformer where you play as a coffee shop duck mascot trying to survive a pumpkin spice powered zombie apocalypse, just dropped on Steam. Yeah... you read that right.

The game’s from Electric Monk Media out in Winnipeg, and includes high-octane caffeine-fueled chaos. You play as Joe the Duck, sprinting through collapsing coffee shops, monorails, and nuclear plants while dodging hordes of latte zombies and trying to keep your feathers intact. It’s loud, weird, and totally leans into B-movie energy in the best way possible.

There’s a special “1968 Living Dead Mode” that flips everything into grainy black and white, which is just chef’s kiss if you’re into old-school zombie flicks.
Key Features
- Ten Levels of Coffee-Fuelled Zombie Mayhem
- Traverse coffee shops, monorails, underground laboratories and nuclear power plants
- Unlock Ten Fabulous Additional Mascot Costumes
- Thrilling destruction and nail-biting pursuit
The game on Steam is $19.49, but it’s on sale right now with a 10% launch discount.
Basically, it’s zombies, coffee, and chao... and I can’t think of a better mix for a late-night Steam pickup.
