Toronto Games Week 2026 Returns This June With More Than 50 Community-Led Events Across the City

Toronto is about to become one giant playground.

Toronto Games Week 2026 returns from June 11-17, 2026, bringing seven days of video games, tabletop experiences, interactive art, live performances, tournaments, workshops, and community events to venues across the city.

Following a successful 2025 edition that welcomed more than 4,200 attendees, this year's event is expanding even further, with over 50 organizers transforming Toronto into a city-wide celebration of games and play.

A City-Wide Celebration of Play

Unlike traditional gaming conventions, Toronto Games Week embraces a decentralized format. Events are hosted throughout the city by independent organizers, bringing together developers, artists, performers, educators, and gaming communities.

From parks and libraries to galleries, bars, cultural venues, and public spaces, Toronto Games Week continues its mission of showcasing games as a powerful form of culture, creativity, and connection.

According to Marie LeBlanc Flanagan, this year's festival is designed to encourage exploration and discovery throughout the city.

"With 50+ event organizers, we're transforming parks, silos, bars, parking lots, and underground spaces into pop-up arcades and playful takeovers. Toronto is a playground. You should join us."
