Warframe: Jade Shadows – Constellations Launches June 17 With Dual Warframe System

Digital Extremes has revealed Warframe’s next major update, Jade Shadows: Constellations, launching free on June 17 across all platforms... and it’s bringing one of the game’s most experimental additions yet.

The headline feature is Sirius & Orion, the 65th Warframe and the first to function as two characters in one. Players can swap between the pair on the fly, balancing Sirius’ support-focused abilities with Orion’s aggressive, crowd-controlling toolkit. Combat builds toward a shared ultimate that sees the two collide mid-air, rewarding well-timed switches with increased damage.

Constellations also continues the Jade Shadows storyline, acting as a direct sequel quest where past player choices carry forward. The update introduces new Protoframes, Ryoku and Vena, and sends players into Uranus Proxima for new Railjack missions... including ship-versus-ship encounters using alternate-future vessels.

New gear rounds out the update, including a timeline-based scythe that shifts between Pride and Wrath, plus five new Incarnon weapons with unique effects like ricocheting shots and spectral attacks. Styanax Prime arrives alongside the update, bringing upgraded stats, Prime weapons, and fresh cosmetics.

On the cosmetic side, players can expect new Protoframe-inspired looks, Operator and Drifter hairstyles, and the Mesa Heirloom skin launching July 11 during TennoCon.

Warframe will also appear at Summer Game Fest with a Twitch Drop offering a free Dante Warframe, while TennoCon 2026 returns July 10 to 11 with its usual mix of reveals and live events.

Jade Shadows: Constellations looks like another big swing for Warframe... blending narrative choice with mechanical experimentation as the long-running live service continues to evolve.
